Science of Music

I am pretty sure that you already had some real weird question about music… The kind of metaphyZical wonderings… Don’t deny it, I saw you when I was watching the MuZicoSphere with my binocular…

I know that you wonder what is the tragic wonderful mechanism beneath the persistence of the last Britney Spears (I do have some nice references) that your evil neighbour played this morning… How is it possible that it will still remain until the destruction of the last neurones this early-morning disaster left you with? Why do your voice sounds better when you’re under the shower (and I know that you blame your shower for your registration to the Pop Idol casting)?

Existential isn’t it?

Well, you can find all the answers and explanations you need on the Science of Music: Accidental Scientist website, generously provided by the Exploratorium of San Francisco.

The website is clean and easy to browse through : a little bit of humor, apparently trivial questions but very intersting answers… And also on-line experiments and exhibits (eg the Kitchen Sink-o-Pation in which you can test the influence of eyesight on the perception of sounds). So funny and useless that it is essential…

I had to present this to you, my visitor that came from I don’t know where, to open my ScientiZic section…

See ya soon…
