A personal note a bit far from the gear focus that is sometimes a little bit limiting though lately I slightly extended the territory that I cover with Muzicosphere. Here are a couple of news that are enjoyable to me though these are not the biggest news ever.
Muzicosphere Went Over the 10000 Visitors/Month Mark
First the posts generate more, and more comments, and I have to say that it is cool to feel like I’m not writing in an empty cyber-space. Most comments are in French but from time to time I do have an English comment (international visitors count for 30-35% of Muzicosphere readers). Come on people I know that sometimes you wanna react but are stopped by the fact that most comments are in French. Don’t worry people understand English, and they might even reply to your comments in English. And I like to have your feedback too. Linked to this increasing number of comments, the trafic goes fine too as in Octobre Muzicosphere had over 10000 unique visitors. To be precise: in Octobre Muzicosphere recorded 11238 unique visitors. That might not be a lot compared to the guitar centric forums or compared to the guitar blogosphere bosses but to me this is a good score. Next step… We’ll see!
Do I Really Have to Burn a Strap?
Weeks ago Peter from I Heart Guitar had a Dunlop accessories giveaway in which I won one of the 6 leather Dunlop BMF straps. I received it a couple of days ago, and I wanted to thank Peter. Back then I made this little comic strip I call my non-sense masterpiece. Look how subtle I was when I displayed the Muzicosphere logo, and the logo of my other blog G.A.S. a GoGo in the strips. Thanks again Peter.
Bits of the Muzicosphere Spirit in Guitar Part Magazine
Guitar Part is a French guitar centric magazine, and for their issue #200 they interviewed Joe Satriani… The title of the interview is Satch me if you can that you might remember as a parody post I’ve published a couple of weeks ago (Satch Me If You Can). I’m not a published writer yet but I’m featured in the biggest guitar centric French magazine! That’s one small step for the guitar world, one giant leap for me. Ok ok… Am I getting too far now?
In the weeks to come I’ll some more serious stuff to announce but as I’m always cautious with that kind of stuff I’d rather wait a little before saying too much.
