MuZicoSphere Evolution…

The blog’s migration is almost done… So welcome to my brand new MuZicoSphere blog…
It’s been a few weeks since I wrote my last article, but I was just busy with so many things to prepare and think about… Including the migration!

  • Jerking around and last adjustments are almost over…
  • Brainstorming is far from being over…
  • Doubts are still around…
  • My enthusiasm is almost reaching the sky…

So, I’m back with the MuZicoSphere blog that is meant to evolve toward a bigger project bearing the code name of… MuZicoSphere Project! Huh
I will give you the details of the project as it goes along, but here is a brief presentation of its purpose:
The market is over supplied with musical instruments, which is good! But, as a matter of fact choosing your first or next instrument is getting harder and harder. Harder because:

  • Too many models to test by yourself (Though this is a pleasant part of the purchase process).
  • Random availability in your local store.
  • Rise of the e-commerce.

Considering this, many of us start their purchasing process by gathering informations about what could interest them. That’s when you start to desperatly explore the jungle of reviews:

  • Written reviews that are a bit frustrating and obsolete.
  • Sound samples reviews.
  • Video reviews since the rise of some famous websites.

As I am a  notorious GAS addict, I often relied on reviews to purchase musical instruments… At least when I found something to feed this need. Yeah, I often blindly purchased my next guitar, bass or pedal effect. Information too dispersed, poor sound quality of the video reviews, too generalistic websites, search engines not as efficient as they should be, loose tagging of the videos… Well, this is where I am heading. I got on this road a few weeks ago and my purpose is to provide a solution that should and will be more efficient than the pre-existing solutions out there… This is what the MuZicoSphere Project is about!

Don’t worry… I’m not quiting messing around a little and teasing the music world, I can’t help it… Well I won’t quit from the MuZicoBestiary (but first I have to translate the previous entries), the Murphy’s Laws of Music nor the gizmos and funny stuff that we like as the Music Geeks that we all are…

See ya very soon…

  1. Yep!
