Demo of the Vlebonator by Vleb (Resonator Guitar)

I built this guitar from a kit I’ve bought from StewMac supplier in 2003. Unfortunately, this kit is not sold anymore in Stewart MacDonald’s store.

My aim was to build a 1929 National Triolian replica with a biscuit type of cone and a wooden body.

The result is beyond my expectations!

Plus:

  • A great building experience to have.
  • Very good tone thanks to the National cone I used (instead of the kits one).
  • The pleasure of playing on a unique self-made instrument.

Minus:

  • The finish is not perfect, but at least it looks like a vintage guitar.
