Musical Transformations

Beyond the fact that they allow us to make and hear music, I also love musical instruments because they are beautiful objects. Some artists use old instruments to create some pieces of decorative art away from the primary use of musical instruments. As I’m always browsing the web, I’ve spotted the Musical Transformations website because of the fine and beautiful creations there.  SD Kogan makes decorative objects from old brasswind instruments. Classy objects that are slightly related to the steampunk spirit…

Isn’t it a nice way to recycle old musical instruments? Though I prefer when musical instruments make music…

To see more creation of this kind check the Musical Transformations website.
