Musikmesse 2010: Gibson Will Be There!

Submitted by Sem on Monday March 22nd, 2010 – 10:00 AMNo Comment

Here is a booth I won’t miss at Frankfurt Musikmesse: Gibson booth. To be honest, whatever might be said about Gibson, their guitars remain a huge fantasy for a lot of guitarists.  They were absent at the last NAMM show in California but the good news is that they will be at Musikmesse. Chances are high that we will see their latest guitars such as:

  • Slash Appetite Les Paul
  • Sammy Hagar Red Rocker Les Paul
  • SG Angus Young
  • Zakk Wylde BFG guitar
  • The brand new and nice Joan Jett Blackheart Melody Maker

As for the acoustic guitars I hope we will have the chance to see the Keb Mo Bluesmaster. I know its retail price is quite high (thus frightening) but I am still very curious about this beauty.

Gibson’s sister firm Epiphone will be there too, and they have tons of upcoming stuff I want to see such as the brand new Les Paul PRO/FX because man it is rare to see a Les Paul with a trem bridge! And I also hope that they will bring some of the Wilshire guitars that will remind how I love the MC5 guitars (I kind of remember that Wayne Kramer use to have an Epiphone Wilshire).
