Fender Pays Tribute to Kurt Cobain with a Jaguar Signature Model

Indeed, they had to do something at Fender in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nevermind. So Music Radar announced the Fender tribute to Kurt Cobain which is a Kurt Cobain Jaguar signature guitar.

The guitar is based on the 1965 Jaguar that Cobain used back in the Nevermind years. Fender integrated some modifications that Cobain made to his own Jaguar into the new signature model. These include the DiMarzio PAF, and Super Distorsion pickups. Here is an image gallery on Music Radar with more pictures of the relic’d guitar.  Music Radar indicate a £1307 (about $2000) but there are no information on Fender website yet.

Now this is going to be discussed all across the interwebs! I like the guitar, and the tribute but hey… Back in the early ’90s I really liked Nirvana, and 20 years later I still often listen to their albums.
